WILD HEART REIKI · WINNIPEG
A little space to come back to yourself.
Reiki offers a gentle pause from the constant doing — a place to rest, settle in, and have nothing asked of you for a while.
Hi, I’m Erin.
Usui Reiki Master · Somatic Practitioner · Registered Psychiatric Nurse
I believe the people who spend so much of their lives caring for others are often the ones who have the hardest time making space for themselves. That’s a big part of why I created Wild Heart Reiki.
My approach to Reiki is warm, grounded, and a little intuitive. You don’t need to know anything about energy work, know how to meditate, or arrive feeling calm. You can simply come as you are.
My background in mental health and somatic practice shapes the way I hold space, with a deep respect for the connection between our minds, bodies, and the ways we move through the world.
More than anything, I want this to feel like a place where you can exhale, be cared for, and not have to hold everything together for a little while.
When you’re used to being the one who holds everything together…
It can be surprisingly hard to make room for yourself.
You might be the person everyone turns to, the one keeping track of what needs to happen next, or someone who rarely feels completely off-duty.
Sometimes what you need isn’t another thing to work on.
Sometimes you just need somewhere you don’t have to be the one holding it all.
That’s enough.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive practice that uses light touch or hands held just above the body. During a session, you stay fully clothed and simply rest while I move through a series of Reiki hand placements.
Some people notice warmth, tingling, heaviness, deep relaxation, or a quieter mind. Others don’t notice much at all. There’s no right way to experience Reiki, and you don’t need to believe in anything or know anything about energy work beforehand.
For me, Reiki is less about trying to make something happen and more about creating space to slow down, notice what’s there, and simply be for a while.
